Compression is the easy part. What separates a piece you wear every week from one that lives in a drawer is the edge, the grip and where the density sits.

The edge
A stitched hem leaves a ridge that telegraphs straight through silk, jersey and any fitted knit. Ours are laser-bonded — the fabric is fused rather than sewn, so the edge lies flush against skin. That single detail is the difference between shapewear that works and shapewear people can see.

The grip
Elastic alone cannot hold a waistband against a day of movement, which is why most pieces roll down by lunch. A continuous silicone band runs the full circumference and grips skin, not fabric. Put it where you want it in the morning and it is still there at midnight.

The panel
Compressing everywhere equally flatters nothing and cuts into your ribs. We knit a denser double-layer panel across the lower stomach and waist only, and leave the rest as breathable four-way stretch — so it holds the line without turning the whole garment into a tourniquet.
