Our Story
The best shapewear is the kind you forget you are wearing.
Almost everything in this category fails in one of two ways. It shows through your clothes, or it stops holding by lunch. SUALTA exists to build the opposite: a small, deliberate range of seamless pieces made to be invisible under fabric and still doing their job at the end of the night.

The idea
Shapewear should be infrastructure, not an event.
A shaping garment has exactly one job — to hold a line under something else — and it is judged entirely on what you cannot see. If there is a ridge at the hem, a roll at the waist, or a seam pressing into your ribs by the third hour, the piece has failed no matter how good the marketing photograph looked.
So we design backwards from the failure points. Every decision on the line starts with a question about hour ten, not hour one: does the edge still lie flat, does the waistband still grip, can you still take a full breath.

The finish
Bonded edges, not stitched hems.
A stitched hem creates a raised ridge, and that ridge telegraphs through silk, jersey, and anything bodycon. It is the single most common reason shapewear gets seen.
Our edges are laser-bonded flat instead of sewn, so the garment ends in a clean, tapered finish that sits level against the skin. It is a more expensive way to finish a piece, and it is the whole difference between shapewear that works and shapewear you can spot from across a room.

The hold
Compression you can wear for ten hours.
Firm is easy. Firm and breathable is the hard part. We use four-way stretch knits with the shaping panel knitted in rather than sewn on, so there is no seam digging into your waist when you sit down and no rigid patch fighting the way you move.
A continuous silicone band grips the full circumference of the waistband, which is what keeps a high-rise piece from creeping down over the course of an evening. You should never have to fix your shapewear in a bathroom mirror.

The range
Three pieces. That is the entire line.
A brief for tummy control, a bodysuit finished well enough to wear as a top, and a full-body suit for the outfit that has no margin for error. That is it.
We would rather get three things genuinely right than publish a catalogue of sixty near-identical items and let you guess. If a piece cannot beat what is already in your drawer, it does not belong on the site.
Non-negotiable
Four things we will not cut.
Bonded edges on every piece
No stitched hems anywhere the garment meets skin. If it can leave a line, it does not ship.
Silicone that actually grips
A continuous band, not a few printed dots. It has to hold through a full day of sitting, standing, and dancing.
Compression you can breathe in
Shaping should change your silhouette, not your posture. Nothing in the line is engineered to be endured.
A cotton-lined gusset, always
Every piece we make is lined in cotton where it matters. This is basic, and it is skipped constantly.
Made to be worn, not admired in a drawer.
Start with the piece that solves your most common outfit problem. If you are between sizes or unsure which style fits your wardrobe, the size guide walks through it properly.
